Rimini is ENGAGEd!

	It is located on the Adriatic Sea and is the capital of his province in Emilia Romagna. Together with Riccione, it is probably the most famous seaside resort on the Adriatic Riviera. Rimini, is well known as the “european capital of amusement and tourism “: with more than thousend hotels and restaurants, ten theme parks, archeological and historical paths, cultural reviews and festival, discos and more than 20 km of beach Rimini can really satisfy everyone’s taste from the cultural tourism of the day to that of the sparkling nightlife. In summer time population increases very quickly, reaching even 5 or 6 times more that of the winter one. In this period the problems connected to the traffic matter, pollution, energy supply, rubbish collection, supplies and communications, reach really critical levels. In 2006 the first Urban Sustainability Action Plan was approved by the City Board. In 2007-2008 partecipate to the BELIEF project and revised its Sustainable Energy Acion Plan
